My track record – some select ideas that have yielded phenomenal returns

After starting out as a research analyst in a formal way, most of the time during prospective client interactions, a question is asked regarding my track record in generating multi-bagger ideas.

The best way to demonstrate this would be to give examples from my own investment journey of the past several years. Accordingly, in the following table I give certain SELECT value picks from my own individual investment account that have given multi-fold returns. These examples are top of the mind recall and are in no way exhaustive but selective they surely are.

At the same time it must be emphasised that individual scrip calls that I may generate in future may or may not always be able to give such returns or even close to it, these are just examples of some of the several successes I have come across during my journey. I must point out that during my investment journey there have been many cases of failures as well as those where the returns generated were sub-par.

However in my experience even a couple of multi baggers when held patiently act as an icing on the cake and help generate enviable overall returns.

Hold on to your winners for as long as possible and get rid of the non-performers at the first available opportunity. That is the key to success
