What I admire the most about Ajay is the commonsensical reasoning with which he puts forth his point of view in the most convincing manner. He has a strong intellect to grasp a proposition in totality, to evaluate it comprehensively considering all the pros and cons - quantitatively as well as qualitatively, to arrive at the most appropriate recommendation.

I have worked with Mr. Ajay Khandelwal for almost five years at Globe Capital, March 2017 till Dec 2021, it will not be right to say he was a good friend as he was too senior but it is his quality that you will never feel while interacting with him that you are talking to someone so senior.
The seniority I am talking about here is not due to his age or designation within the company but it is in context of the knowledge and skill set the he possesses. May it be his knowledge related to equity research or Stock market operations or Compliance related matters, he has always been able to address them all.
His mastery is in identifying stocks for a long term horizon and why not, he was a Fund Manager. During his tenure at Globe he has identified and invested in many stocks that have multifold, may it be MRF, Britannia among others. There is always one thing common in the stocks that he picks i.e. he never compromises with corporate governance and that is one thing I appreciate the most about him. I cannot miss accepting the fact that he adopts latest technology so quickly that people half of his age, like me, finds it difficult. I fail to recall even one single incidence when I approached him with a problem and returned without a solution. That’s his attitude, always willing to guide, help & support.
His best quality is that he is always willing to impart knowledge, share his experiences of life. I have learnt a lot from him, still seeking opportunities where I can work with him. In short, I see his as a perfect mentor.
